Es’hailSat announces its sponsorship of the prestigious Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2015 hosted by the Qatar Tennis Federation

Doha, 5th January 2015 – Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, is proud to announce its Gold sponsorship of the prestigious Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2015 hosted by the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF). The tournament is taking place in Doha from 5th-10th January 2015. Es’hail 1, Qatar’s first satellite which is located at the 25.5/26°E TV hotspot will broadcast the tournament live and in HD from Doha throughout the satellite coverage spanning the whole Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
With more than 300 million viewers in the MENA region, the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2015 is yet another important sporting tournament brought to the MENA audiences via Es’hail 1. Es’hailSat also transmitted the FIFA World Cup 2014 coverage for prestigious broadcaster beIN SPORTS. With one satellite – Es’hail 1 – in orbit and a second satellite – Es’hail 2 – scheduled for launch in 2016, Es’hailSat continues to build its capabilities in broadcasting diversified and high quality premium content with anti-jamming capabilities across the MENA region.
