The Qatar Satellite Company (Es’hailSat) announces its sponsorship of the prestigious Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2014 hosted by the Qatar Tennis Federation

Doha, 24th December 2013 – Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, is proud to announce its Gold sponsorship of the prestigious Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2014 hosted by the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF). The tournament, which takes place in Doha from 30th December 2013 to 4th January 2014, coincides with the effective start of operations of the company’s first satellite, Es’hail 1, located at the 26°E broadcast hotspot. Es’hail 1 satellite is also expected to broadcast the tournament live and in HD from Doha throughout the satellite coverage spanning the whole Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

With more than 300 million viewers in the MENA region, the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2014 represents the right venue for the introduction of Es’hailSat to the MENA audiences. Es’hailSat, through its existing and planned satellites, is expected to broadcast diversified and high quality premium content with anti-jamming capabilities across the MENA region.
